Grilled Talero Lime Chicken

Lime Chicken

Ingredients:

  • – 4 chicken breasts, skinned and de-boned
Margarita Marinade
  • – Juice from 3 key limes
  • – 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro chopped
  • – 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
  • – 2 tablespoons Talero Tequila
  • – 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • – 1 jalapeño chile, finely chopped
  • – 1 tablespoon olive oil

Grilled Chicken

Wash the chicken, pat dry and place in a large, heavy-duty resealable plastic food bag, pour the marinade over the chicken in the bag. Seal the bag and refrigerate several hours or over night.

Prepare a medium-hot charcoal fire or preheat a gas grill to medium-high. Drain the chicken, discarding the marinade. Grill chicken, turning often, until they are slightly charred and cooked through, about 25 minutes. Yield: 4 servings.

Marinade

In a small mixing bowl, muddle cilantro, garlic, cumin and jalapeño until you have a thick paste.
